It broke here and there with new plugin versions, but I always managed to fix the source code so that it continued to run. ![]() I've been using the Spotifoo skin for years now. Actually, "Stop after current" in the playback menu was my feature request. I remember when Peter quit Winamp and developed foobar and I was in the IRC channel where the first versions were released. I'm using the JRemote on my Ipad 3 with retina display and it is awesome.I have used foobar2000 since it was v0.1 or whatever was the first. Ipad and the current 5th gen Ipad air? If I go the IPad route I want to know if the much faster processor in the Ipad air improves the browsing experience in JRemote when viewing lots of cover art or if it's better to save the $100+ and go with a refurbished 4th gen. free, isn't something worth considering when comparing the two for my own comparison.Īnd lastly, has anyone run JRemote on both a 4th gen. ![]() Just judging by all the pictures of it that I have seen, it looks like it might address some of the browsing issues that limit that functionality of gizmo. I've never used JRemote since I don't own an Ipad, but it appears to be very well laid out. JRiver refuses to go public with the software code so it doesn't appear much is going to ever change with it. I like Gizmo but it has a lot of downfalls and it doesn't seem like any improvements are being made to it. ![]() Android device comes down to which remote software is better. My main use for a tablet is controlling JRiver, so my decision to get an IPad vs. I have an old hp touchpad running android but it's getting quite old and can be very slow, especially rendering images in gizmo. Reason I ask is it is time for me to get a new tablet. Has anybody had a chance to play with both of these? If so which do you prefer? Pros/Cons of one vs. ![]()
