![]() ![]() I've started a new file to try other stuff without losing my progress so far-the main thing being removing the 4th track because I read if it's a less-than-compatible mp3 file, it could be causing the problem. I've removed spaces and apostrophes from the file name. I confirmed the project is saved locally. I've closed all other unnecessary processes. But now it's to the point that I can't do anything because it has a problem every time. I could usually edit about a minute of audio.and then it would have another problem. Sometimes, I would need to close it and re-open it. Sometimes, if I let it continue, it would sort itself out and keep working. ![]() When I had had edited around 30 minutes, it started getting really slow and any time I tried to cut-paste a clip, it would slow down a ton and eventually become unresponsive. So it was really simple stuff, just clipping out little things and maybe doing a few little movements to separate overlapping dialogue and it was working great. ![]() But, it is not available for Android users. With it, you can import, mix, and combine audio files without any difficulty. To do the transfer, he did some kind of save that keeps the audio files as part of the project rather than in a referenced folder. Audacity is a popular and high-quality audio editing application. Some pre-processing like adjusting levels and noise gating and stuff was done by another host and then he passed it to me to do the rest of the edit (taking out us talking over each other, etc).
